If you choose Italy Spa Hotels, you will find the following wellness services, sub-divided into four categories:
Wellbeing, Beauty, Fitness, Délice.

Minimum criteria for the “Wellbeing” department.
|
- The hotel is equipped with satisfactory and up-to-date computer hardware and software
- Wellbeing must be a clear and recognizable theme in all the services offered
- All the wellbeing services, excluding treatments, are included in the price
- The hotel has a well-tended garden or park, or a pleasant terrace
- All the rooms must be provided with hair-dyers, bathrobes, slippers and a courtesy service (soap, shampoo, bubble-bath) for the free use of guests
- All the wellbeing facilities (covered pool, sauna, beauty and fitness services) must be located inside the hotel or in a building adjoining it
- There must be at least 10 m² of wellbeing space (covered pool, sauna, beauty and fitness services) for every room in the hotel
- The covered pool must be accessible every day of the week, for at least 10 hours a day. The minimum temperature of the water must be 30-32° and there must be a hydrotherapy area
- The hydro-massage (which may be integrated into the pool) must be accessible every day of the week, for at least ten hours a day. The minimum temperature of the water must be 33-35°
- There must be a pleasant sauna facility, with at least 3 different chambers, accessible every day of the week for at least 6 hours a day
- The wellbeing centre must be equipped with at least one set of scales
- Tea, herbal teas, fruit juice and chilled mineral water must be available free to the guests in the wellbeing area

Minimum criteria for the “Beauty” department
|
- There must be a reception area for the beauty section
- Only top-quality cosmetic products must be used
- Detailed information must be available from the hotel reception
- The hotel reception must be available to take bookings for beauty and wellbeing treatments, even when the reception desk at the wellbeing centre is closed
- Guests must be able to make bookings for treatments from home at the time of confirming their hotel reservation
- At least one qualified expert must be on duty full-time in the beauty department
- All the treatments must be carried out by staff who have undergone the requisite training
- The beauty department must be open at least 7 hours a day, 5 days a week
- There must be at least 3 cubicles for treatments in the beauty section. At least one of these must be a separate room for bath and face-pack treatments
- At least 7different types of massage must be on offer
- There must be a glass case displaying products for sale (this could be at the reception desk)
- A hairdresser/cosmetician must be available for bookings

Minimum Criteria for the “Fitness” department
|
- The gym must be accessible seven days a week, from 7.00 am to 8pm.
- The fitness section must be adequately equipped with modern machines, which operate efficiently and are sufficient for the building and the spa centre
- Clients must be able to get sufficient information from the office regarding the use of the gym equipment
- A personal trainer, to conduct training sessions must be available on appointment.

Minimum Criteria for the “Délice” department
|
- In addition to the normal menu, there must be at least one light menu every day (with light , whole-meal, organic, vegetarian, low-calorie etc foods) and this must be clearly identifiable
- There must be a light section included in the breakfast buffet (with fresh fruit juices, fresh fruit, cereals, natural yoghurts, whole-meal bread etc)
- Attention must be paid to the individual dietary requirements of the guests
- There must be a fruit-basket available for guests throughout the day
